The HRC rates companies on a scale of 0 to 100 for their fair treatment of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) employees. This marks the 15th consecutive year that the company has been recognized on this prestigious list and the 12th time it has achieved a perfect score. By earning a perfect score, SC Johnson is designated a 2017 Best Place to Work for LGBT Equality by HRC.

The HRC Corporate Equality Index is the nation’s leading benchmarking tool of corporate policies and practices pertinent to LGBT employees. HRC rated a total of 1,043 companies, which were evaluated on six main categories: Equal Employment Opportunity Policy, Workplace Non-Discrimination Policy, Spousal and Partner Benefits, Transgender-Inclusive Benefits, Organizational LGBT Competency, and Public Engagement.
In October 2016, SC Johnson was named as one of the 25 World’s Best Multinational Workplaces by the Great Place to Work® Institute, the world’s largest annual study of workplace excellence.
